A number of our members were out at the weekend providing maintenance to the duck nesting tubes on club land.
Members have been out inspecting, maintaining and renewing our nesting tubes. With the successful use over the last few years, it was a good opportunity to inspect and renovate. New wrapping techniques have been implemented on those in our more exposed locations.

Previously used nesting tube
One of the biggest challenges was finding some of the tubes.

Getting to the nesting tubes can be a challenge.
Other tubes proved more troublesome to get to.

Positioning the tubes can be challenging
- Previously used nesting tube
- Last years nest
