This is a annual club favourite with 17 members in attendance this year.  Weather was perfect for the event with a range of blue and rainbow trout being caught.  A great event organised by our club treasurer.

Our thanks go to Wessex Water Fisheries for helping us host the event and the donation of the prizes.  We are very grateful for their kind donation of an auction Lot, details of which will be announced on the 1st May.

Hawkridge is an amazing location, with stunning landscape views and a well managed fishery.  For further information about the reservoir please click here.

Egg-Sighting Duck Tube News

We posted a few weeks ago about our on going conservation project where we have been creating duck nesting tubes to increase safe nesting sites, to help raise the hatching rate of wild mallards.  We are pleased to announce that after doing our routine inspections that some of those nesting tubes are now in use.

Hoping that our next sighting is of a healthy paddling of ducklings.
