That’s the last of our clay shoots over for the year. Some were better shots than others. Some drank tea and shot the breeze.
Strong winds didn’t hinder the 35 plus members taking part.
Well done to the clay section of Clevedon Wildfowlers for all the hard work they have put in.

Our bi-annual Taste of Game evening last night was a huge success.
According the Oxford English dictionary a scurry is a situation of hurried and confused movement. If you were with us yesterday you might agree with the accuracy. Some dogs hurried, some were confused and all had a splashing good time.
The work party on the pond turned into a dirty days work. Reed pulling and general maintenance was carried out by a number of members last Sunday. Young members got involved by helping on the bank side. A real good start to the clean up was made. Some members took a dip in the pond to cool off, or so they said.
We even had a couple of spectating swans watching over us as we worked.
We will be at the West of England Game Fair this weekend at the Royal Bath and West Showground. Come and say hello, we look forward to seeing you there.
